Luminox began with Fahad Khan, an electrical engineer who wanted to bring real smart home automation to Indian homes, without the cost and hassle of rewiring a house from scratch. Saad Khan joined early to shape the product's mechanical design. Amir Khan came on board soon after to help take it to market, leading growth, go-to-market, and sales strategy as the product came together. Today, the three of them are focused on scaling both the smart home product and Luminox's growing engineering services work.

Yes. Luminox is a retrofit system, built to work behind the switches, fans, and appliances you already have. Nothing needs to be replaced.
Yes, Luminox is rental-friendly. If you move, we'll relocate your system to your new home once a year at no extra cost.
No. All data is fully encrypted and hosted securely on the cloud, and it stays that way.
Every installation comes with a 2-year warranty, and our team's just a message away for anything after that.
Not much of one. It's free, involves no changes to your existing circuits or wiring, and doesn't depend on coordinating with an electrician or anyone else. Our own team handles the whole visit, most homes in under an hour.
Like any electrical device, Luminox needs power to run. Automation pauses along with the rest of your home's electronics during a cut, and picks back up automatically the moment power returns.
Yes. Start with one room, and add more whenever you're ready: a curtain motor, another switch, another room. You're never locked into what you bought on day one.
Yes. Temperature and humidity sensors, the IR blaster, and the keychain remote can all be added to your existing system whenever you're ready.
